What Is In Your T-Shirt Collection

Everyone has a collection of t-shirt. The collection may be different for different people, but they are all basically the same. They are collections of the wearer's personality and you can learn a lot about someone by the shirt they wear. For example, nobody is going to wear a shirt with the name or logo of their favorite sports team at least.
You will not meet someone from Cleveland, which is an avid Browns fan who wears a Steelers t-shirt. They would not have worn the jersey of their favorite team and arch-enemy, for any reason, even irony. So it's safe to assume that if you see a person walking down the street wearing a t-shirt Cleveland Browns, I'm a fan of the team. The same would go for any other team out there.
Nobody is going to spend the money on a shirt that doesn't show off their support for their team. It wouldn't make any sense to do so because there is no reason to do it. This is a great way to get a first impression for someone that you meet. You can assume that if they are wearing a Boston Red Sox t-shirt that they hate the New York Yankees and you have an automatic conversation starter. All you have to do is say something about the Yankees stinking and you have made a new friend.
This phenomenon works for other types of t-shirts besides just sport teams. If somebody you pass on the street is wearing a shirt depicting some sort of benefit or charitable organization, then it is a safe bet that they are involved with the cause in some way or another. Now this rule can sometimes backfire on you when it comes to young adults and rock t-shirts. Sometimes they will wear the shirts of bands that they do not necessarily like or listen to in order to be ironic or make a fashion statement.
In such cases, the rules can fly out the window. E 'wise not to act on your instincts to say something to the person, even if you like the band. A good rule is never to talk to anyone wearing a t-shirt rock unless they are similar in age to yourself. It might just keep you from embarrassing yourself. But regardless of what a person says shirt or shows, it is likely that expresses the personality of the wearer.
